Senior Associate – Property Risks & Coverage: Birmingham

HF is looking for a Senior Associate to join our expanding Property Risks & Coverage department in Birmingham.
About The Role
You’ll work with some of the UK’s leading property insurers, handling claims arising from fires, floods, explosions, vehicle impacts, and more. With cases often running into the multi-millions, you’ll support partners on complex litigation, manage your own multi-track caseload, and mentor junior team members.
This is a chance to be a key player in a fast-growing team, where your expertise, leadership, and commercial insight will make a real impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build strong client relationships and deliver clear, commercial advice
- Lead internal projects and support strategic initiatives
- Contribute to business development through networking, presentations, and innovation
- Act as a technical expert and mentor within the department
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified lawyer with 4+ years’ PQE in insurance/property damage
- Strong communicator and critical thinker
- Organised, proactive, and commercially aware
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
