Our Serious & Catastrophic Injury team specialises in high‑value, life‑changing personal injury claims, representing clients who have suffered traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, severe orthopaedic trauma, chronic pain, and fatal accidents. You’ll be part of a highly experienced and supportive team, working closely with senior lawyers, medical experts, case managers and rehabilitation providers to deliver exceptional client care and achieve the best possible outcomes. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your expertise within a specialist, nationally recognised team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing and progressing high‑value personal injury claims from instruction to resolution, including litigated High Court cases.
  • Preparing pleadings, witness statements, schedules of loss, instructions to experts and key litigation documents.
  • Coordinating expert evidence across multiple disciplines.
  • Providing empathetic and proactive client care, supporting individuals and families through rehabilitation pathways in line with the Rehabilitation Code.
  • Developing litigation strategies, negotiating settlements, attending conferences with counsel/experts, and participating in settlement meetings and mediations.
  • Supporting and supervising non‑qualified team members where required.

What do I need?

  • Qualified Solicitor status (0–6 years PQE, indicative).
  • Experience handling high‑value personal injury cases (desirable).
  • Strong knowledge of the Serious Injury Guide, Rehabilitation Code, and CPR.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a complex caseload.
  • Clear, confident communication skills.
