What you’ll be doing
- Managing the opening of new client files and conducting thorough conflict checks
- Preparing and processing billing for client files
- Handling finance‑related tasks, including time transfers, write‑offs, and supporting WIP return processes
- Maintaining accurate and organised filing systems
- Overseeing stationery orders and ensuring stock control
- Assisting with expense claim processing
- Supporting Heads of Department with debt collection activities
What do I need?
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong planning, organisational and time‑management skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability
- Able to meet deadlines and escalated where appropriate
- Experience working with Microsoft Office packages, including Excel
- Experience working within a legal department is preferable
