What you’ll be doing:
- Handle a diverse caseload of defendant litigated files, from OIC to Fast Track.
- Review damages, develop case plans, and coordinate with clients, third parties, and insurers through negotiations and correspondence.
- Draft legal documents, attend court hearings, and manage cases from start to finish in a timely and cost‑effective manner.
- Ensure compliance with legal standards, SLAs, and firm procedures; maintain strong time management and organisational skills.
What you’ll need:
- At least 12 months of experience handling litigated claims (preferably defendant cases).
- Good understanding of the CPR, SRA Code of Conduct, and motor insurance.
- Familiarity with medical reports is a plus.
- Client‑focused, well organized, and able to meet billing targets while delivering excellent client care.
- Ability to take initiative, adapt to change, and work well under pressure—whether independently or as part of a team.
