Established in 1969, we provide specialist legal services to 12 of the UK’s 20 largest insurers in areas such as Motor, Disease, Casualty, Aviation, Recoveries, Costs and Credit Hire. Our recoveries team is instructed by insurers to determine liability and recover uninsured losses and insurers’ outlay from third parties. We secure many millions of pounds per annum for clients and have a great reputation due to our specialist industry experience.
About the Role
Litigation Executive – Onsite – Permanent – HF Recoveries are recruiting Litigation Executives at all levels. The role is based in Manchester’s Media City office and offers a hybrid and flexible working model after the probation period.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clients and their policyholders through the litigation process to recover outstanding outlay and uninsured losses.
- Manage defendant files from small claims track through to high‑value multi‑track work.
- Present facts, law and negotiate great outcomes for clients and policyholders in a reasoned and persuasive manner.
- Work as part of a successful team, demonstrate commercial awareness, present the facts and law and have a track record of successfully negotiating great outcomes.
Qualifications
- Legal experience or strong legal aptitude is desirable; we will provide training in RTA recoveries litigation.
- Well‑organised, confident telephone manner, flexible and creative when tackling new litigation challenges.
- Hard‑working, ambitious and eager to develop a long and rewarding career in litigation.
