About The Team
Our counter-fraud department is the biggest of its type in the market, running over 700 cases to contested trials each year and winning most of them. We have secured over 2,000 findings of fundamental dishonesty since the rule was introduced (more than any other firm) and, in the process, recovered over ÂŁ1m in legal costs for our clients every single year.
We do things differently. We innovate and go the extra mile and aim to make a positive difference to society with our no-nonsense approach to fraud. We disrupt fraudsters and stop them in their tracks, using the latest tools and technology not only to identify and fight fraud, but to reduce the cost of fighting it and, crucially, to help prevent it in the first place.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Handling your own caseload across DA and non-DA fraud and causation matters (approx. 80/20 split)
- Complying with SLAs, court deadlines, and procedural rules (CPR)
- Carrying out advocacy work on applications and case management conferences
- Identifying fraudulent activity and liaising with intelligence analysts
- Advising insurer clients with precision and professionalism
- Updating MI reports and managing databases
- Negotiating with solicitors, clients, and insurers
- Keeping your legal expertise razor-sharp through training and development
What do I need?
- Hands-on experience managing a varied litigation caseload
- Knowledge of personal injury law—defendant experience preferred
- Strong insurance sector insight
- A sharp eye for detail and the ability to think creatively under pressure
- Confident communicator, capable of public speaking and advocacy
- Proficient in case management systems and legal documentation
- Enthusiastic, self-driven, and an exceptional team player
