Join us as a Learning Disability Support Worker and help create a future where learning disabled people can live their best lives.

We understand that life can be complicated for everyone. However, some individuals face additional barriers that prevent them from pursuing their dreams. Many learning disabled people are not heard when it comes to the support they need. They may not have the opportunity to decide their careers, how to spend or save money, or try new hobbies.

Full and Part Time hours available.

But you can make a difference.

Join our growing team in Preston and receive comprehensive training to become a confident Support Worker.

If our values—Kind, Diverse, Positive, and Visionary—resonate with you, then you already share something in common with us. Come onboard and support learning disabled adults by embodying these values to help them develop skills, achieve their life goals, and thrive in the community.

What we offer you:

  • Location: Preston services
  • Salary: £12.51 per hour
  • Working hours: Flexible hours to suit you and those you support. For ‘Sleep ins,’ we pay £49.08 per shift plus over 12.07% holiday pay.
  • Generous Holidays: 33 days of annual leave, including eight statutory bank holidays.
  • Pay incentives: 10% overtime allowance, 20% Bank Holiday allowance, 50% extra for key dates over Christmas.
  • Training & development: Fully funded Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care, with paid work experience.
  • Additional benefits: Health, retail, and cash incentives for you to use as you wish.

What you’ll be doing:

Your daily tasks will vary—from supporting someone with their weekly shopping to outdoor adventures; from providing personal care to attending their favorite gig; from teaching independence with public transport to helping manage their money. The goal is to support individuals in discovering new interests, reaching goals, and maintaining relationships with family and friends.

You’ll deliver high-quality care and support for learning disabled adults by listening to their needs, assisting with daily tasks like medication and cooking, and helping build their confidence for new experiences—all while working flexible shifts to balance your work and home life.

We look forward to meeting you at our Preston services!
