We understand that life can be complicated for everyone. However, some individuals face additional barriers that prevent them from pursuing their dreams. Many learning disabled people are not heard when they express their support needs. Some are unable to decide what they do for work or how to manage their money. Many are also unable to try out new hobbies they might love. But you can make a difference.

What we offer you

  • Location: Crossgates, Leeds
  • Salary: £12.51 per hour
  • Holidays: 33 days of annual leave, including eight statutory bank holidays
  • Pay incentives: 10% overtime allowance, 20% Bank Holiday allowance, 50% extra pay on key dates over Christmas
  • Training & development: Fully funded Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care, earning while you learn

What you’ll be doing

Every day brings new opportunities. Support someone with their weekly shopping, go on outdoor adventures, assist with personal care, attend their favorite concert, teach money management, or help build confidence using public transport. Your role is to support individuals in discovering new interests, achieving goals, and maintaining relationships with family and friends.

You will provide the highest standard of care and support for learning disabled adults by listening to their needs, assisting with daily tasks such as medication management, cooking, and confidence building, and encouraging them to pursue new adventures—all while working flexible shifts to balance your work and home life. Having a full driving license is beneficial but not essential.
