Join us as a Waking Nights Support Worker and create a future where learning-disabled people live the best life possible. The person you will be supporting has complex needs, including dementia and poor mental health. Therefore, previous experience in health and social care is essential.

Some won't get to decide what they do for work or how to spend or save their money. Many won't get to try out the new hobbies they'd love to try. But you can change all that.

What we offer you:

  • Where you'll be working: Bidford, Worcestershire
  • Your salary: £ per hour (basic rate of £ plus 10% waking nights uplift)
  • Your working hours: 8pm - 08:30am (hrs). With flexibility to work some weekends.
  • Training & development: Earn money while you get a fully funded Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care.

What you'll be doing:

Every day is different. This can vary from supporting someone to plan their weekly shop, to going on an outdoor adventure. Providing everyday personal care to supporting someone to go to their favourite gig. Building someone's confidence in using public transport to teaching money management skills. What's important is supporting people to discover new interests, achieve new goals and maintain important relationships with their family and friends.

You'll provide the highest possible standard of care and support for learning disabled adults. Listening to their wants and needs, enabling people to do daily tasks such as taking medication, cooking a meal or working with them to build their confidence and take on new adventures they are longing for. All this while working a variety of shifts to support your work and home life balance.
