As a Pest & Bird Technician, you’ll tackle complex challenges, protect environments, and deliver safe, effective, and humane pest control solutions to our clientJob ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify pest and bird issues, entry points, and contributing factors.Develop and implement tailored pest and bird management plans using a variety of techniques, including trapping, baiting, exclusion, and deterrent systems.Apply pesticides and other control agents safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions, company policies, and relevant legislation.Install and maintain bird proofing solutions such as netting, spikes, and wires.Educate clients on pest prevention measures and best practices.Maintain accurate records of services performed, materials used, and client communications.Operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with clients.Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry best practices and new technologies.Job QualificationsProven experience as a Pest Control Technician, specifically with bird control, is highly desirable.Relevant pest control qualifications (e.g., BPCA/RSPH Level 2 in Pest Management or equivalent) are essential.Full UK driving license with a clean record.Strong understanding of pest biology, behavior, and control methods.Knowledge of health and safety regulations pertaining to pest control.Excellent problem-solving and observational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Physical fitness and ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and at height (with appropriate safety training).Commitment to providing high-quality customer service.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From £28,500.00 per yearWork Location: On the roadReference ID: JR206 / HF #J-18808-Ljbffr
