Maintenance Person – Longmynd Hotel
Nestled within the breathtaking area of outstanding natural beauty, our Longmynd Hotel country house proudly boasts 55 elegantly appointed bedrooms, providing a serene retreat for up to 85 guests embarking on guided or self‑guided tour holidays.
Responsibilities
- Handle day‑to‑day maintenance tasks such as plumbing, painting, heating, pool plant care, carpentry, and electrics.
- Collaborate with the Area Maintenance Manager on special projects throughout the house, showcasing your expertise.
- Work closely with the House Gardener or contract gardener to maintain the garden area, including mending fences, tending external lights, and maintaining walls.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Recent hands‑on experience in plumbing, electrical work, pool plant maintenance, or a related trade.
- ‘Can‑do’ attitude with enthusiasm and a flexible approach to handle diverse tasks.
- In‑depth knowledge of Health and Safety practices within a work environment.
- Effective communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
