Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and entrepreneurial E-Commerce & Paid Media Marketing Manager to transform our digital performance. This role offers genuine autonomy and the opportunity to take full ownership of our website development and management. You will work collaboratively with our digital agency partners to optimise user experience and drive commercial growth, using data insights and creative flair to continuously enhance landing pages and customer journeys. Key responsibilities include managing our Digital Marketing Agency relationships to achieve common goals and maximise paid media performance. You will deliver improvements in both traffic quality and volume through integrated paid and organic activities, implementing structured test & learn programmes to increase online conversions. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in website management including tracking, analytics and UX development, with proven experience building best‑in‑class customer journeys. You will also progress our SEO strategy alongside agency partners, ensuring timely delivery of key developments that drive incremental customer value. This position suits someone who thrives in a data‑driven environment and can balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution to deliver measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Paid Media: Take responsibility for our paid media activities working in partnership with our Digital Agency to create highly responsive paid media campaigns utilising PPC, Pmax, Paid Social and more.
  • E‑Commerce: Ensure that the website is fully merchandising all available holidays to best ability. Ensure that all marketing campaigns are properly promoted on the website. Deliver a programme of improvements to merchandising which encourages First Time Buyers and Repeat Guests to purchase increased numbers of holidays.
  • UX Management: Take responsibility for improving the UX of the website through a programme of test & learn activities. Work closely with our Digital Agency to develop data‑led testing programmes designed to improve user journeys and increase site conversion.
  • SEO: Take responsibility for improving volume and quality of our organically generated website traffic and ensuring landing page optimisation and high‑quality conversion metrics.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Use your knowledge to improve our online tracking and reporting using tools such as GA4 & Matomo. Suggest and implement tracking methodologies which allow us to gain full user‑insight as well as use that insight for action.
  • Implement trading actions: Implement trading actions from across the business designed to align with business‑wide needs which help achieve sales goals.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams: Liaise with the Product, Sales, and to align brand vision with business goals and support overall marketing objectives.
  • Management and supervisory: Have management responsibility for one Digital Marketing Executive whom you will assist to improve knowledge and skills as well as develop their thinking.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience working in a similar role. No minimum time period is specified but it is anticipated that you will be skilled in core aspects of the role and demonstrate aptitude to gain expertise in those you have less knowledge of.
  • Strong analytical skills and full working knowledge of Google Tag Manager, GA4 and any other reporting tools.
  • Experience of working on website CMS tools.
  • Experienced in working with web development agencies. Able to convey your thinking whilst maintaining strong working relationships throughout.
  • Experienced and knowledgeable of modern‑day SEO thinking. Able to specify (and deliver) content and structure to aid organic traffic generation.
  • Strong communication, listening and influencing skills, with good problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong time‑management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative work ethic that builds strong working relationships.
  • A passion for the great outdoors and the tangible benefits it brings would be advantageous.
