Location: Borehamwood - Hybrid (1-3 days office based depending on your location)

Contract: Permanent - Full Time – 37.5 hours per week

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Creative Designer with strong art working skills to join our Marketing team, bringing proven client-side expertise in transforming creative briefs into high-impact, fully developed direct-to-consumer campaigns. This role requires the ability to interpret briefs, manage multiple projects, and participate in internal creative campaign brainstorms. Your work will directly contribute to refining and elevating the HF Holidays brand through innovative and engaging design solutions across traditional and digital marketing platforms and delivering high-impact promotional campaigns.

The successful candidate will demonstrate an understanding of B2C direct mail and direct-response content. You’ll be producing hard-working designs that streamline in-house production and drive direct-to-consumer response. This is an opportunity for a multi-skilled designer ready to take ownership of design projects and guide them to successful completion, including direct mail, digital marketing graphics, brochure production and managing stock imagery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing content creation: Produce marketing communications across a wide range of touchpoints including print advertising and direct mail, social media graphics and managing and sourcing stock and owned imagery.
  • Interpret and develop creative briefs: Work closely with the senior creative designer and marketing team and stakeholders to interpret initial briefs and translate them into fully developed creative briefs.
  • Project ownership: Own multiple briefs and manage stakeholders effectively, prioritising and coordinating design projects across various marketing mediums.
  • Creative collaboration and brainstorming: Take part in internal brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas, presenting ideas confidently to senior management and stakeholders to influence creative direction.
  • Brand identity and consistency: Champion our brand design development, maintaining and evolving HF Holidays’ brand guidelines through all marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Liaise with the Product, Sales, Digital teams to align brand vision with business goals and support overall marketing objectives.
  • Content sourcing and creation: Sourcing stock imagery and contributing to briefs for new asset content creation, including detailed online maps.

What are we looking for?

  • Demonstrable design experience within the B2C direct response sector, ideally in the travel or leisure industry.
  • Strong artworking and design skills with extensive knowledge and familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign (Adobe XD, Premiere Pro and After Effects knowledge is a bonus).
  • Experience of working across a range of online & offline media and channels.
  • Experience of interpreting briefs and delivering end-to-end design solutions.
  • Strong communication, listening and influencing skills, with good problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative work ethic that builds strong working relationships.
  • A passion for the great outdoors and the tangible benefits it brings would be advantageous.
