We’re partnering with a well-established food manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Quality Manager to lead food safety, compliance, and quality culture at a key UK site. This is a high-impact role with real influence across operations, production, and leadership teams. You’ll take ownership of site quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement, while acting as a trusted partner to the wider business.

The role

  • Lead and continuously develop site food safety and quality culture
  • Own and maintain BRC, HACCP and customer standards, ensuring ongoing compliance
  • Manage and lead internal, customer, retail, EHO and third-party audits
  • Investigate complaints, implement corrective actions and drive root cause analysis
  • Partner closely with Operations and Production to improve processes and standards
  • Maintain specifications, supplier approval and technical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant UK food legislation
  • Develop and coach a small technical / test bakery team

What we’re looking for

  • You’ll be an experienced quality professional from food manufacturing
  • Proven experience in a Quality Manager / Technical Manager role
  • Strong track record of improving food safety and hygiene standards
  • HACCP Level 3 (or higher) and a recognised H&S qualification
  • Experience managing BRC and audit programmes end-to-end
  • Degree-level qualification in Food Technology or similar
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
