We are seeking a Deputy Business Unit Manager to support the Business Unit Manager for Vessel Operations and Internal Logistics, in delivering outstanding customer service through effective people management and process delivery. Your Role
- You will lead, motivate and manage a diverse operational team to achieve performance targets and continuous improvement.
- You will review and enhance business processes to improve efficiency and service delivery, building strong customer relationships to work collaboratively to deliver exceptional service.
- As a champion of safety and compliance, you will promote safe working practices and ensure adherence to safety regulations across all operations.
What You'll Bring
- Experience in port operations or similarly complex operational environment.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards with a minimum of IOSH certification.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills—verbal and written.
- A collaborative mindset for customer engagement and partnership working.
- A full UK driving licence.
