Your Role
Reporting to the Deputy Business Unit Manager, you will operate the Grain Terminal's conveying network and vessel discharge processes using SCADA and Commtrac systems. You will make real-time operational decisions, monitor stock movements, and ensure efficient terminal operations. This position combines Control Room Operator and Material Handling Operative duties. Alongside control room responsibilities, you will support vessel discharge operations, operate plant and equipment, and assist with general terminal activities as required. You will work closely with customers, agents, and operational teams to maintain safe and efficient operations across the site. Full training will be provided for all aspects of the role. This role is classified as safety critical. Your duties in this role may include driving on site; working at height and/or in confined spaces; operating/driving plant; manual handling; lone working; night work. If successful in your application, you will be required to attend a pre-placement medical assessment to confirm your fitness for work in this role.

- Solid understanding of automated plant systems and/or bulk material handling systems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task
