Reporting to the Deputy Group Harbour Master (Hydrographic & Dredging), you will oversee dredging campaigns from initial planning through to completion, managing contractor performance, coordinating survey activities, monitoring compliance with marine licences and environmental requirements, and supporting the development of the Group Annual Dredge Plan. This is a critical role that combines operational leadership, contractor management, data analysis and continuous improvement to maintain safe navigation and support the ongoing success of our ports. You will also contribute to performance reporting, budgeting, forecasting and the development of long-term dredging strategies across the Group.

You'll be confident analysing operational and performance data, managing multiple stakeholders and contractors, and producing clear reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement. Strong communication, organisational and commercial awareness skills are essential, alongside the ability to coordinate activities across multiple locations, support safe systems of work, and contribute to tendering, contractor performance management and project delivery. A full UK Driving Licence is required, with professional membership desirable.
