The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 Β£ per year.
We are looking for an Electrical Technician who is qualified to a minimum of ONC/HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering with experience of working with heavy plant and equipment in an industrial environment. You will also have:
- A working knowledge of Programmable Logical Control or drive control systems and HV networks would also be desired.
- Experience working with PLC equipment and be willing to participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours reactive maintenance when needed.
- Experience maintaining hydraulic equipment, impounding pumps, lock gates, bridges, and related systems would be advantageous.
- The ability to create Risk Assessments and Method Statements, and have a solid understanding of Permit to Work systems.
- Experience with CMMS systems, including fault and defect reporting, is required.
- Knowledge and experience with relevant statutory requirements and legislation, including but not limited to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, PUWER, LOLER, and PSSR.
