About the role:

We are currently looking for a technically strong, creative, and passionate Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. Working within a supportive and welcoming team, the role will require you to produce efficient, high-quality technical designs for both new build and refurbishment projects in a wide range of sectors. You will need to be enthusiastic, hard-working, and looking to take on responsibility.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has 5 to 8 years of relevant structural engineering experience
  • Is a confident communicator, able to explain engineering concepts clearly and simply
  • Is passionate about continuous learning and technical excellence
  • Has a strong interest in architecture and the relationship between structural engineering and architectural design
  • Is committed to sustainability and reducing embodied carbon through design
  • Enjoys engineering and passing on their knowledge through mentoring younger engineers
  • Is near chartered or is a chartered member of the IStructE or ICE (or other relevant institution)
  • Has the ability to design and deliver structural solutions on complex projects
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage time, resources, costs and communication within and outside the Practice
