Heyn Forklift Solutions have been supplying Materials Handling Solutions to customers in the UK and Ireland for decades and have built up a reputation of customer service excellence and high-quality products.
The role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing forklift trucks and other material handling equipment both at customer sites and in our workshop. The role would be suitable for a self-motivated person who is mechanically and/or electrically biased.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Mechanical, electrical and/or hydraulics engineering experience from an automotive background (plant, agricultural and/or commercial)
- Relevant qualifications or training records
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety working practices
Skills and knowledge:
- Hydraulics Systems
- Electrical System
- Mechanical Systems (Engines, Transmissions, Braking etc)
- An ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
- An ability to undertake tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- The ability to work under pressure and independently
- Proficiency in IT
- A full, valid and clean driving licence
Company benefits:
- Salary DOE has the potential with overtime to exceed £40k
- 25 days holiday plus 8 stats
- 37 hour week Monday-Thursday 8.00-4.30 and Friday 8.00-1.00
- Overtime after 4.30 daily and Saturday basic, Sunday and bank holidays x2 basic (also DIL for bank holiday worked)
- Weekly callout allowance
- Callout payment + min of 4 hours overtime x 2 basic
