At HeyGen, our mission is to make visual storytelling accessible to all. Over the last decade, visual content has become the preferred method of information creation, consumption, and retention. But the ability to create such content, in particular videos, continues to be costly and challenging to scale. Our ambition is to build technology that equips more people with the power to reach, captivate, and inspire audiences.

We are looking for a Country Community Manager to build and grow HeyGen’s local community ecosystem. This role is responsible for cultivating relationships with the local community of users and advocates who help drive trust, learning, and long-term advocacy in-market.

As part of HeyGen’s international growth efforts, you will lead community strategy and execution locally. You will activate ambassadors, support community-led events, and build partnerships that make HeyGen feel relevant, credible, and embedded in the local community. The opportunity will start as a long-term contract with part-time hours approximately 15-25hrs per week.

The Country Community Manager builds and grows HeyGen’s local presence by cultivating strong relationships with knowledge-based creators, partners, and community leaders. The role focuses on recruiting, enabling, and activating local ambassadors. You will support local ambassadors to host events, educate users, and represent HeyGen within their communities. Through partnerships and locally led initiatives, you help turn product value into trust, learning, and sustained adoption.

You act as the connective tissue between global strategy and local execution, ensuring HeyGen shows up in each market in a way that is culturally relevant, credible, and human.

Key responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a focused country-level community plan aligned with HeyGen’s global direction.
  • Identify, recruit, and support local ambassadors who can educate users and represent HeyGen.
  • Enable ambassadors and partners with resources, guidance, and ongoing support.
  • Support high-quality, community-led activations (virtual or in-person), such as workshops or meetups.
  • Identify and nurture strategic local partnerships that extend HeyGen’s reach and credibility.
  • Share local insights, learnings, and recommendations with the global team.
What success looks like:
  • A strong base of active, engaged ambassadors.
  • A consistent cadence of ambassador-led events.
  • Trusted local partnerships that extend HeyGen’s reach.
  • A self-sustaining community engine that does not rely on you to execute everything.
Who you are:
  • Experienced community builder, creator, or ecosystem operator comfortable working independently.
  • Know how to drive outcomes through relationships rather than headcount.
  • Comfortable leading learning experiences and community gatherings.
  • Experienced with creator platforms, SaaS, or education-led products.
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented in outreach and follow-up.
  • Curious and resourceful - interested in being part of a fast-moving AI startup.
  • Someone who values clarity of scope, autonomy, and a flexible contract engagement.
  • Fluent in your local regional language and in English.
  • Have worked with creators, educators, or SaaS products.
  • Have experience running events or programs at scale.
  • Experience as a trainer or teacher delivering learning content and experiences.
  • Have partnered with accelerators, agencies, AI communities, or creator networks.
  • Have seen community-led growth work in practice.
Why Join Us:
  • Shape how thousands of creators connect, grow and adopt new technology.
  • Help define what “great” looks like as we scale HeyGen internationally.
  • You’ll have real ownership, autonomy, and accountability over outcomes.
  • Flexible work environment with a team that values ambition, clarity, and curiosity.
