About Us Heyfields Nursing Home is a well established Nursing Home based on the Barlaston/Tittensor border in Stoke-on-Trent with an excellent track record of providing outstanding care for our 56 residents in a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment. We are looking for compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to join our team and help improve the quality of life of those in our care. Key Responsibilities Providing personal care and support to residents, including assistance with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility Supporting residents with eating and drinking where required Promoting residents' dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all times Building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues Assisting with recreational and social activities Monitoring residents' wellbeing and reporting any concerns to senior staff Maintaining accurate care records and following care plans Ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents What We Are Looking For A caring, patient, and compassionate nature Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility Previous care experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends; 12 or 6 hour shifts What We Offer Competitive salary and paid training Supportive management and friendly team environment Uniform provided Pension scheme
