Working Hours & Benefits

  • Monday–Thursday: 8.30am – 5.00pm
  • Friday: 8.30am – 1.30pm

The Role

As a Cost Analyst, you will support the costing function by analysing and maintaining cost data across materials, labour, tooling and overheads. You will play a key role in supporting new product quotations, cost comparisons and value engineering initiatives within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with cost calculations and analysis
  • Support preparation of cost breakdowns for new product quotations
  • Analyse material, labour, tooling and overhead costs
  • Maintain and update costing spreadsheets, databases and internal systems
  • Compare estimated versus actual production costs and highlight variances
  • Support value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives
  • Provide target costing data to Product Development teams
  • Liaise with Procurement to obtain supplier pricing and cost data
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities focused on cost control and efficiency

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business (preferred)
  • Understanding of costing, finance or data analysis principles
  • Interest in manufacturing environments and product costing (e.g. BOMs, inventory)
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to work with data sets
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present insights
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
