You will lead risk assessments, audits, inspections and incident investigations while supporting the maintenance and continuous improvement of key management systems, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and FSC accreditation requirements. This is a varied role offering the opportunity to influence positive change, drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the ongoing success of the business. Key Responsibilities Support the delivery of the site's Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental strategy Promote a positive safety culture through regular engagement with operational teams Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments Maintain and support FSC accreditation, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 management systems Ensure compliance with EUDR regulations and relevant legislative requirements Investigate incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective and preventative actions Provide guidance, coaching and support to managers and employees on QHSE best practice Assist with internal and external audits Monitor compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation and environmental regulations Support continuous improvement initiatives across quality, safety and environmental performance Maintain accurate records, reports and compliance documentation Build strong working relationships across all departments to drive engagement and accountabilityWhat We're Looking For NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (or currently working towards) Professional qualification in Environmental Management (IEMA, NEBOSH Environmental or equivalent) Membership of relevant professional bodies such as IOSH, IEMA or CIWM Previous experience in a Health, Safety, Environmental or QHSE role within a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of FSC accreditation requirements and ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards Auditor or Lead Auditor qualification Excellent understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and regulatory frameworks Strong communication, coaching and influencing skills Experience conducting audits, risk assessments and incident investigations Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE management systems Ability to work independently whilst building effective relationships across the business A proactive and practical approach with a passion for continuous improvementIf you are looking for a role where you can make a genuine difference to workplace safety, quality and environmental performance whilst contributing to the success of a leading UK manufacturer, we'd love to hear from you
