The Walk in Bath Co is a rapidly expanding specialist bathroom installer, providing walk-in baths and showers for people with mobility needs. Based at our Head Office in Baildon, Shipley, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Management Accountant to support the continued growth of the business. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role will take ownership of the day-to-day finances while also providing clear, practical financial insight to support decision-making. This is very much a roll your sleeves up role, suited to someone who enjoys working in a small business environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts with meaningful commentary
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Cashflow management and working capital oversight
- Maintaining and improving financial controls and processes
- Preparation of VAT returns and supporting compliance requirements
- Liaising with external accountants on year-end and tax matters
- Producing clear financial reports for the Managing Director
- Supporting wider business operations with financial insight
- Support the development of financial awareness across the wider team
- Encourage strong financial discipline and good processes throughout the business
Skills/Qualifications
- AAT qualified (or equivalent), or qualified by experience
- Proven experience in a similar role within a small or growing business
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience using Sage Line 50 is essential
- Confident Excel user with good attention to detail
- Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills, able to explain financial information clearly
- High level of integrity and professionalism
Desirable
- Experience within construction or installation environments
- Knowledge of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)
