Hey Baby 4D is a private 4D ultrasound clinic based in Middlesbrough, North East England. We are looking for locums to perform obstetric and gynecological scans for our clients. Weekend shifts are available and pay depends on experience.
Job Description
Our Sonographer will promote a patient‑focused approach to care, ensuring all client areas are safe and fit for purpose. You will undertake a range of duties using complex or sensitive information and act as the patient’s advocate, maintaining their dignity at all times.
Responsibilities
- Conduct prenatal scans from early pregnancy reassurance and dating scans, to late pregnancy 4D scans.
- Produce high‑quality ultrasound images and videos.
- Keep accurate records and make high‑quality referrals where necessary.
- Carry out phlebotomy services for NIPT and ‘SneakPeek’ blood tests (training offered if not already phlebotomy trained).
- Work with the management team to ensure a premium client experience.
- Ensure a high standard of patient care at all times.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the clinic at all times.
Qualifications
- Qualified and experienced Sonographer with expert understanding of ultrasound practices.
- Registered with the HCPC, NMC, GMC or BMUS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong patient‑centred approach.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position, with available references.
