They are looking for a Research Engineer to join a multidisciplinary R&D team in Cambridge, working on cutting-edge technologies from initial research through to prototype development.

The

Role: Research and develop innovative solutions to complex scientific and engineering problems.

Design, model and validate new concepts through simulation and experimentation.

Develop prototypes and support technology through to manufacture.

Work across multidisciplinary teams delivering advanced R&D projects.

Present technical findings and provide recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements: Postgraduate qualification (MSc/Ph D) or equivalent commercial experience in Physics or a related discipline.

Strong background in one or more of the following: Quantum Technologies, Optics, Electromagnetics, Sonar & Acoustics, Semiconductor Physics, Thermal Systems, Fluid Dynamics or AI/ML Algorithms.

Experience with computational modelling, simulation or experimental research.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

The company are rapidly expanding and are at the forefront of their industry.

They are looking to pay circa 60k – 120k along with a comprehensive benefits package.
