Overview
As a Senior Embedded Linux Engineer, you will help deliver a brand-new product by applying your expertise in embedded software. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and integrate driver-level functionality across multiple SoC platforms. You’ll leverage Yocto and embedded Linux to support wireless products in a semi-remote, London-based setting. Your impact will span from low-level driver work to shaping the product’s hardware-software interface, contributing to scalable, reliable systems.

Responsibilities
- develop and integrate embedded Linux software for a new product
- design and optimize device drivers for various SoC platforms
- work on wireless product features and reliability
- collaborate with hardware, firmware, and product teams in a semi-remote setup
- evaluate and implement Yocto-based build workflows
- contribute to architecture decisions for cross-device compatibility
Key requirements
- Degree in Embedded Systems, Electronics or similar
- 5+ years commercial embedded software development experience
- Strong embedded Linux experience
- Solid Yocto experience
- Experience with wireless products (telecoms, IoT, RF) is highly desirable but not essential
