Hexwired Recruitment has partnered exclusively with a rapidly expanding R&D based in Winchester now seeking an Embedded Linux Engineer with solid experience working on distributed products and high speed processors like Nvidia Jetson. The company are expanding to meet the demands of their clients, developing a brand new hardware platform from scratch, and are seeking an Embedded Linux engineer with good experience working in constrained environments like Defence and Medical.
The role will be a combination of commercial development as well as R&D, providing an excellent opportunity for someone keen on gaining new experience and using new tools.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years commercial Embedded software experience
- Experience working on ARM STM32 Processors and Controllers
- Good experience working on Serial comms such as Ethernet and CANbus
- Good BSP work experience
- Good experience Testing and Documenting Embedded systems
- Experience using Ubuntu is highly desirable but not essential
- Experience working with Nvidia Jetson or similar processors is also advantageous but not essential
- A good understanding of building Embedded Systems with Security functionality in mind
