Hexwired Recruitment is recruiting for an expanding Electronics manufacturer based in Slough now seeking an FPGA Engineer to help deliver key projects for clients across a range of applications. You will be working as part of an experienced team to develop a range of bespoke products. The company are expanding to meet the demands of their clients and are seeking an FPGA Engineer ideally with previous experience in VHDL and hands-on Xilinx experience. As the company is beginning a number of projects from scratch, you will get the chance to see a number of products from design to manufacture.
This is an FPGA job focusing primarily on VHDL programming for either Xilinx or Altera FPGAs, as well as working on high-speed and low-latency applications.
Key Skills:
- Degree in Embedded Systems, Electronics, Maths or similar
- 3+ years commercial FPGA design experience
- Good commercial VHDL experience
- Commercial Xilinx or Altera experience
- Experience working on PCIe and/or DDR4 comms
