A specialist engineering business within the defence and maritime radar sector is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, testing and maintenance of mechanical structures used in advanced radar and surveillance systems. The role involves working closely with engineering and production teams to support both new product development and enhancement of existing systems within a regulated engineering environment.
Requirements:
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documentation
- Strong IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and databases
- Strong analytical approach with good numeracy and literacy skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Responsibilities:
- Support mechanical engineering development activities in line with internal quality processes and procedures
