Hexwired Recruitment is recruiting for a well-funded R&D company in Cambridge now seeking an Embedded Linux Engineer to help develop a new product portfolio utilising high throughput data systems and the latest tech in processor architecture. You will be working as part of a small development team utilising the latest tech in one of the fastest growing sectors in Embedded systems. The company are expanding due to growth and interest in their products, and are seeking Embedded Software Engineers with a particular interest in both Linux Kernel and C on Linux work for high speed networking devices. You will be part of a small, development team working on a hybrid basis from their office in Cambridge. This is a semi-remote Embedded Linux role working across the Kernel development and C on Linux.
Key Skills:
- 5+ commercial Embedded Software experience
- Good commercial Embedded Linux experience
- Experience working on Userspace Linux using C++
- Experience working on products focused on latency (Networking, Video, Broadcast Etc)
- Experience writing and deploying code to DevOps processes.
