Hexwired Recruitment is recruiting for an expanding Electronics manufacturer based in Bristol now seeking a senior FPGA Engineer to help deliver key projects for clients across a range of applications. You will be working as part of an experienced team to develop a range of bespoke products. The company are expanding to meet the demands of their clients and are seeking an FPGA Engineer ideally with previous experience in VHDL and hands on Xilinx experience. As the company is beginning a number of projects from scratch, you will get the chance to see a number of products from design to manufacture.
This is a FPGA job focusing primarily on VHDL programming for either Xilinx or Altera FPGAs, as well as working on high speed and low latency applications.
Key Skills:- Degree in Embedded Systems, Electronics, Maths or similar
- 5+ years commercial FPGA design experience
- Good commercial VHDL experience
- Commercial Xilinx or Altera experience
- Experience working with RF or SDR products
- DSP experience or similar
