The predicted salary is between 50000 - 65000 £ per year.

You will conduct and interpret ground investigations for offshore and coastal projects across the North Sea and Atlantic seaboard. Based in Aberdeen, you will work closely with the marine division's jack‑up fleet, designing borehole programmes, supervising CPT campaigns, and providing geotechnical design parameters for gravity‑base foundations, quay walls, and dredging operations.

What we are looking for:

  • BEng or MSc in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or Earth Sciences
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marine or offshore ground investigation
  • Experience with CPT interpretation, borehole logging, and laboratory testing programmes
  • Working knowledge of BS EN 1997 (Eurocode 7) and offshore geotechnical standards
  • willingness to travel to offshore sites and work on jack‑up platforms for extended periods
  • Valid offshore survival training (BOSIET/HUET) or willingness to obtain
