NAPIT / NICEIC Electrician in City of London

We are recruiting for an experiencedNAPIT/NICEIC accredited electrical remedial works engineer to join our electrical service company. This is a permanent role so please only apply if you are looking for a long term position. Usually this is one or two jobs a day and usually around London within the M25 but sometimes can be further afield.

The services to be carried out by the successful candidate are:

-Domestic consumer unit replacements

-Three phase distribution board replacements

-Installation of earth bonding

-Fault finding

-Installation of RCDs/RCBOs

-Installation of surge protection

-Replacement lights and accessories

-Replacement switch fuses

-Installation of smoke detection

-Installation of new circuits

-Testing

-Issuing of certification and notifications

-Other minor electrical works

This is a remedial works role and the EICR inspections are carried out by our inspectors.

Please only apply if you have significant electrical work/remedial work experience and are confident working in both low and high-end domestic properties as well as commercial premises; offices, warehouses, retail.

The successful candidate should have the following requisites:

You MUST haveNAPIT or NICEIC accreditation

At least 15 years of experience

Competent with 3-phase and single phase

-Good work ethic

Excellent housekeeping

Prompt issue of certification (EasyCert)

Confident communicating with homeowners/landlords and also businesses

Good knowledge of the regulations

Experienced at working alone

The following qualifications are required as a minimum:

-Completed apprenticeship or equivalent. Level 3.

-BS7671: 18thedition amendment 2

-City and Guilds 2391: Inspection and Testing

Non-UK equivalent qualification are accepted provided they are approved by the relevant UK bodies

Must be willing to represent our company in an excellent professional manner at all times.

A driving license and own vehicle are required.

Full equipment, calibrated test equipment and tools are also required.

This is a permanent position. No agencies please.
