Electrical Qualifying Supervisor & Quotation/Works Order manager

We are a Domestic and Commercial electrical compliance company based in London, covering London and the South East. The majority of our work is EICRs and associated remedial work.

We are recruiting for a Qualifying Supervisor to complement our team. This is a remote role predominantly working from home. A desk based role well suited to an experienced electrician/manager/QS who is happy to spend most of their time working on the computer on certificates, quotes, and works orders. Occasional site visits/audits would need to be carried out and all expenses for the visits would be reimbursed.

Benefits

• £40,000 salary per year + £5,000 bonus = OTE £45,000
• Mon-Fri (9 hours per day)
• 20 days holiday (Plus 8 BHE) – additional one day per year of service up to 5 maximum.
• Expenses reimbursed for travel

Requirements

• NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor Role for the company
• Ideally have held NICEIC/NAPIT/Other Qualifying Supervisor role within last 2 years
• Reviewing EICR inspection reports
• Checking and signing off all electrical certificates
• Preparing quotations
• Preparing works orders and material requisitions for all remedial work
• Approving all completion documents
• Answering technical queries from our customer service team
• On-going assessment and guidance of our inspectors and engineers
• Quality checking remedial jobs and EICRs
• Health and safety and staff site audits
• Dealing with any technical related complaints.

Skillset

• Many years of electrical experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent technical knowledge
• BS7671:18th Edition Amendment
• Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• C&G 2391 or equivalent
• Health and Safety certification
• Other qualifications a benefit
• Excellent IT skills including MS Excel and MSWord
• Good maths skills
• Quotation preparation
• Experience of installation and material specifying
• Good attention to detail
• Able to perform NICEIC QS role including yearly assessment, quality checking engineer work, up to date with regulations, perform testing as required by NICEIC.
