We are seeking a Linux engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be working on security-focused systems, proactively maintaining and developing Linux infrastructure to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service, completing hands-on engineering of systems administration solutions across a range of projects and operational needs.
Core Responsibilities
- Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
- Manage, coordinate and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations and network hardware
- Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency and scalability of the environment
- Maintain best practices on managing systems and services
What we are looking for
- Linux systems or administration (CentOS/RHEL) experience
- Strong understanding of network engineering and architecture
- Managing and maintaining product and operating systems patch cycle
- TCP/IP Networking and troubleshooting
- Configuration management, Load balancing and Bash scripting / Automation
- Hardware troubleshooting and replacement
- Knowledge of Active directory, Group policy, DNS, DHCP
- Previous experience in Windows systems administration space and integrating Linux
