The Role

As the Data Support Engineers will support and empower users across the platform user base. Our goal is to facilitate seamless integration of data, enabling applications that drive superior decision-making within organisations. You will work closely with product engineers, implementation teams, and fellow support engineers to ensure user issues are addressed promptly and effectively. Your role involves resolving user queries and distilling observed trends into feature requests.

Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical liaison for Data Engineers, providing first-line support and guidance.
  • Cultivate an in-depth understanding system application, to efficiently address user inquiries.
  • Work with product engineers to diagnose, and resolve bugs reported by users, improving platform stability and performance.
  • Contribute to documentation and clarifying complex concepts where needed.

What We Require

  • Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or another technical field.
  • Experience in Python and Pyspark is essential, with additional skills in SQL, Java, TypeScript/JavaScript useful.
  • Knowledge of APIs, RESTful services, and development best practices, including code branching and testing.
  • Exceptional English writing and communication skills.
