Hexeal Chemicals Limited is a growing Norfolk-based manufacturer and online retailer of chemical, household, automotive, beauty ingredients and specialist products, supplying customers throughout the UK.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse & Production Operative to join our growing team. This is an entry-level position and no previous warehouse or production experience is required, as full training will be provided. The role is varied and hands-on, working across both our production and warehouse operations to help manufacture, pack and dispatch our products safely, accurately and efficiently. We are looking for someone with a good work ethic, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the production, filling and packing of Hexeal products.
  • Operating production and packing equipment following training.
  • Picking and packing customer orders accurately.
  • Preparing parcels and pallets for dispatch.
  • Labelling, sealing and checking finished products.
  • Moving, organising and replenishing stock within the warehouse.
  • Loading and unloading deliveries where required.
  • Carrying out basic quality checks during production and packing.
  • Keeping production and warehouse areas clean, tidy and organised.
  • Following production instructions, procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Following all company health & safety, chemical handling and PPE requirements.
  • Reporting damaged stock, equipment faults, spillages or other issues to a supervisor.
  • Assisting with stock counts and general warehouse duties.
  • Supporting other members of the warehouse and production team as required.

About You:

  • You do not need previous experience – we are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude.
  • Ideally, you will have experience within a manufacturing, chemical, industrial, FMCG or warehousing environment, with knowledge of the following:
  • Be reliable, punctual and willing to work.
  • Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Be comfortable working in a busy warehouse and production environment.
  • Be able to follow instructions and work safely.
  • Have good attention to detail.
  • Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Be comfortable with manual handling and being on your feet throughout the working day.
  • Take pride in keeping their working area clean and organised.
