Become a part of the "strength within." Hexcel is currently seeking an Aero Excellence Deployment Leader for our Duxford, UK location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations: Lead deployment of the Aero Excellence framework at site level to achieve bronze certification.

Conduct maturity assessments, identify gaps, and define improvement roadmaps.

Drive execution and monitoring of Aero Excellence action plans.

Track and report progress, KPIs, and maturity status.

Ensure alignment and benchmarking with other sites to share best practice.

Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to embed operational excellence.

Promote structured methodologies (Lean, 8D, FMEA, APQP) across the site.

Support resolution of quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Improve customer performance and reduce internal non-conformities.

Act as a change agent to drive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Qualifications: Strong knowledge of continuous improvement and operational excellence frameworks.

Proficiency in structured problem-solving tools (8D, FMEA, APQP, root cause analysis).

Experience in quality and/or continuous improvement within manufacturing or aerospace.

Understanding of maturity models, audits, and certification processes.

Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capability.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.

Effective communication skills across shop floor and leadership levels.

Results-driven with strong execution and accountability.

Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Familiarity with aerospace standards (e. g.

EN/AS9100) and multi-site environments.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the country where the position is based.
