Are you an experienced Project Engineer with a mechanical background who enjoys managing and delivering capital projects as well as using your mechanical knowledge to contribute to successful project execution? In this role the full life cycle of the project will be in your control from inception through design, construction, installation, commissioning and handover while ensuring the key deliverables of cost, time and performance are met.

You will be responsible for:

Leading a variety of projects in a manufacturing environment.

Managing internal and external resources to achieve effective project delivery.

Develop and maintain strong relationships within the multi-functional project team and stakeholders through effective communication and leadership.

Strive to manage, control and deliver on key project deliverables through thorough planning and execution.

Take an active role in technical content of the project including: developing concepts into detailed specifications on a broad range of manufacturing equipment; creating and maintaining mechanical specifications, drawings and documentation; tender analysis and validation; design and construction review; commissioning and handover.

Becoming a key part of the engineering team supporting the safe operation of the site, including the use of industry standard risk assessment techniques, issuing, and controlling safe system of work permits.
Qualifications:

Recognised Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent

Project engineering experience in a manufacturing or process environment
-
Experience including design and specification of industrial chemical processes or similar

AUTOCAD or Inventor CAD experience required
-
ATEX & commissioning experience would be advantageous.

Experience of industry standard risk assessment techniques such as HAZOP, FMEA.
