Hexcel is currently seeking a Global Talent and Learning Manager for our Duxford, UK location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

  • Design, implement, and manage global learning and talent development programs, including program architecture, content creation, vendor coordination, and evaluation of effectiveness, with a focus on driving adoption and execution of enterprise-wide initiatives at the local level.
  • Program Management: Lead and manage Hexcel’s Early Career Program (ECP), including strategy development, cross-functional collaboration to identify open positions, ensure coordination of assessment and selection with recruiting and local HRMs, design and execution of a multi-modal training curriculum, budget oversight, benchmarking of industry best practices, and end-to-end program operations such as supporting local HR rotation planning or assignment transitions, and facilitating stakeholder communications, and performance reviews.
  • Competencies and Executive Development: Partner with the VP of Talent to define and implement a leadership competency framework, including identifying core leadership behaviours, establishing a measurement strategy, and selecting assessment tools to evaluate current capabilities. Includes supporting the integration of assessment insights into personalized development plans, providing coaching guidance and structured learning pathways to support leadership growth.
  • Skills-based Learning: Champion a skills-based learning culture by aligning learning initiatives with critical business capabilities, promoting continuous development through platforms like LinkedIn Learning, and empowering employees to build future-ready skills through personalized, role-relevant learning pathways.
  • Support the implementation and rollout of LinkedIn Learning, including driving utilization and awareness globally.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Develop and maintain relationships with leaders and HR colleagues to understand and meet global training needs ensuring linkage to overall competencies, goals, and strategic initiatives.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish metrics to track the effectiveness of development initiatives. Provide regular feedback and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Data Analysis: Opportunity to help the global HR team shape our strategy on data analytics related to talent, skills and learning. Includes analysing data, reporting trends and progress to stakeholders.
  • Additional responsibilities or project work may be assigned periodically, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Up to 25% travel, as requested.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, or a related field; a Master\'s degree is preferred.
  • Experience: in talent management, learning and development, or a related human resources field.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing leadership competency frameworks, including defining behavioural indicators, selecting assessment tools, and integrating insights into development planning.
  • Strong background in leadership development, talent strategy, or organizational effectiveness, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable talent solutions. Knowledge of instructional design process is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and influence across cross-functional teams and geographic boundaries, fostering collaboration and alignment in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish relevant facts, and provide practical solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite software – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Demonstrated HR data analytics and reporting with ability to effectively tell a story using data and present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Experience in leadership coaching, team development and change management is a plus.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and HRIS a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
