Hexcel, a global leader in advanced composites, is hiring a Deputy Quality Manager to support our Quality function at our Duxford manufacturing site. If you have aerospace or advanced manufacturing experience and are passionate about driving quality excellence, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and customer requirements
  • Lead internal audits; support customer, regulatory, and accreditation audits
  • Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and non‑conformance management
  • Oversee quality control activities including FAI, in‑process, and final inspection
  • Act as deputy leader for Quality Engineers & Technicians
  • Engage directly with customers on quality issues and FAI submissions
  • Participate in supplier audits and APQP/PPAP activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, SPC, PFMEA, and lean initiatives

What You Bring:

  • Engineering/materials degree or equivalent experience
  • Aerospace, defence, or composites manufacturing background
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP, and auditing practices
  • Experience leading technical teams
  • Skills in structured problem solving, SPC, APQP/PPAP, and PFMEA
  • Strong communication and customer-facing capability
