Hexcel is a global leader in advanced composites technology. We are seeking a Scrum Master to work with our cross‑functional teams at our Duxford, UK location.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitating agile ceremonies
  • Teaching, coaching and mentoring teams to adopt the agile mindset and ways of working
  • Enabling continuous delivery improvement
  • Building teams
  • Tracking and monitoring impediments, managing conflict
  • Supporting the full product development lifecycle
  • Maintaining a network within the Agile/coaching community
  • Developing Agile solutions for clients and the continuous improvement of tools and frameworks
  • Taking learnings and applying them to support the growth of the Agile practices at Hexcel

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other disciplines where digital acumen may emerge
  • Formal Agile/Scrum Master training or qualifications is advantageous
  • Experience as an Agile champion with guidance in adoption of Agile practices and values
  • Excellent understanding of how to effectively apply Scrum in complex, real-world situations
  • Experience coaching teams to become agile through recognised practices and frameworks in Agile, DevOps and Lean
  • Ability to present behaviours of a Lean‑Agile Leader with an Agile mindset
  • Understanding of technical disciplines and ability to work with technical stakeholders
  • Strong experience and knowledge of a wide variety of Agile/Scrum tools and frameworks, including User Stories, Continuous Integration, etc.
  • Strong servant leadership skills; working collaboratively to address any challenges or blockers
  • Ability to lead, coach, and mentor software development teams across the full delivery life cycle with strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Candidates must be eligible to work in the country where the position is based.
