Hexcel is currently seeking a Commercial Process Manager for our Duxford, UK location.

Responsibilities

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations.

  • Lead EMEA/AP efforts within a global team to define and continuously improve validation and approval processes aligned with company policies.
  • Increase reporting capability while improving efficiency and reducing manual effort.
  • Develop and trial tools for analysis, tracking, and workflow management of commercial and contract approvals.
  • Ensure robust financial and legal analysis, with clear approval workflows up to senior leadership (CEO/CFO) where required.
  • Train cross-functional teams across EMEA/AP on tools and processes to ensure consistent application.
  • Maintain and manage a pipeline of contract renewals and new business opportunities with Sales and Business Development teams.
  • Ensure timely launch of proposals to allow thorough analysis, collaboration, and strategic decision-making.
  • Prioritize proposals based on business criticality and align cross-functional stakeholders to key opportunities.
  • Coordinate and lead approval processes, including meetings, preparation of materials, and tracking actions to completion.
  • Define, monitor, and report KPIs on process efficiency, contract performance, and financial outcomes, providing regular updates to regional and global leadership.

Qualifications

  • Degree-level education or equivalent relevant industry experience.
  • Proven experience managing complex, long-term bids, and proposals in regulated industries from initiation to contract agreement.
  • Strong process-driven mindset with a track record of continuous improvement.
  • Experience developing KPIs and Power BI dashboards to monitor performance.
  • Commercial contract negotiation experience advantageous but not essential.
  • Fluent in both French and English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Results-oriented with strong influencing, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Effective team player with the ability to collaborate across functions in a matrix environment.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple competing priorities.
  • Commercially astute, analytically strong, IT-proficient (especially Power BI), and able to engage confidently at executive level with an international mindset.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the country where the position is based.
