Responsibilities
- Procurement & Negotiation: Manage the bidding process by obtaining quotes and negotiating vendor terms to ensure market-aligned pricing.
- Vendor Delivery: Act as the primary lead for vendor performance, ensuring all deliveries meet contractual obligations and project timelines.
- Technical Coordination: Lead kickoff meetings, manage patching requests for fiber cords, and oversee end-to-end (E2E) testing schedules.
- Quality Assurance: Validate the accuracy of vendor test results and "Turn Over Packages" (TOP) to ensure all technical documentation is complete.
- Operational Data Management: Maintain critical billing and circuit data, including Install Dates, Acceptance status, and Physical Circuit IDs.
- Stakeholder Management: Provide regular status updates and escalate delivery risks to internal project teams and stakeholders.
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years in Telecommunications as a Project Coordinator or Manager with specific expertise in fiber optics.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on knowledge of OSI Layer 1 (Physical) and Layer 2 (Datalink) troubleshooting for WAN point-to-point connections.
- Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiarity with data center elements, including router ports, patch panels, and DWDM transport equipment.
- Soft Skills: Excellent English communication, ability to manage high-pressure timelines, and flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
