Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP BODS upgrade and migration projects, including planning, execution, validation, and post-upgrade support.

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) environments.

• Perform SAP version upgrades with minimal business disruption.

• Design and implement SAP landscape architecture, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.

• Execute system refreshes, client copies, transport management, and release management activities.

• Monitor SAP systems for performance, capacity, and availability, implementing proactive optimization measures.

• Perform SAP kernel upgrades, database maintenance, patching, and security updates.

• Administer SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, IBM Db2 databases, across Linux (RHEL/SUSE), Windows Server, and UNIX environments including backup, recovery, replication, and performance optimization.

• Manage SAP Solution Manager integration and technical monitoring.

• Troubleshoot complex SAP BASIS, operating system, database, and infrastructure issues.

• Coordinate with infrastructure, database, network, security, and application teams during implementation and support activities.

• Lead technical discussions with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, and external vendors.

• Ensure compliance with IT governance, security standards, audit requirements, and change management processes.

• Prepare technical documentation, standard operating procedures, architecture documents, and knowledge transfer materials.

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience administering SAP BODS.

• Proven experience leading SAP BODS upgrade and migration projects in enterprise environments.

• Experience performing repository migrations, version upgrades, and post-upgrade validation.

• Experience supporting production environments with incident resolution and performance optimization.

• Experience in end-to-end SAP implementation, upgrade, or migration projects.

• Strong expertise in performance tuning, system optimization, and troubleshooting.

• Experience in production support for large enterprise SAP landscapes.

• Experience managing transport landscapes and release cycles.

• Database & Operating Systems: Strong knowledge of SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, IBM Db2, Linux (RHEL/SUSE), Windows Server, and UNIX environments.
