About the Role:
Client is looking for an experienced Account Manager β Insurance to drive business growth and strengthen strategic relationships with insurance clients across the UK.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of selling IT Infrastructure and related technology services to Insurance clients. This is a client-facing sales/account management position, requiring strong experience in account growth, new opportunity development, solution positioning, and relationship management.
The candidate should understand the insurance industry and have the ability to engage with senior stakeholders across CIO, CTO, IT Infrastructure, Cloud, Technology and Procurement functions.
Key Responsibilities:

Own and grow strategic Insurance accounts across the UK.

Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Identify and develop opportunities for IT Infrastructure and managed services.

Build relationships with CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, Infrastructure Heads, Procurement, and other senior stakeholders.

Drive new business, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities within existing insurance accounts.

Develop a strong understanding of client business priorities, technology landscape, and transformation roadmap.

Work closely with solution architects, delivery teams, and presales to develop compelling proposals and solutions.

Lead commercial discussions, RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and contract negotiations.

Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurately forecast revenue.

Develop relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities to expand Hexaware's footprint.

Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and emerging technology requirements within the UK Insurance sector.

Collaborate with internal leadership to develop and execute account and growth strategies.
Mandatory Requirements
-
Proven experience in selling IT Infrastructure / Managed Services / Cloud / Technology Services.

Strong experience working with Insurance clients in the UK.

Demonstrable experience in account management, business development, and revenue growth.

Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and managed services.

Experience engaging with senior stakeholders including CIO, CTO, IT Director, Head of Infrastructure and Procurement.

Proven track record of generating and closing large technology services opportunities.

Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.

Strong commercial, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.

Must be willing to work from / travel within London and the UK as required.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
