Backed by institutional investment and scaling rapidly, we are growing our sales team and are looking for exceptional Business Development Managers (BDMs) to join our high-growth division.
Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager, you will own a defined UK territory and be responsible for end-to-end sales of Hexarad’s services and technology into NHS Trusts and private healthcare providers. You will act as the lead of your territory, prospecting new accounts, delivering demos, managing stakeholder engagement, and closing high-value deals. Working closely with our CCO and wider sales and marketing team, you'll use a data-driven, consultative approach to grow a healthy pipeline and exceed your quota.
Key Responsibilities

- Identify and target radiology departments with unmet reporting needs, outsourcing patterns, or workflow challenges
- End-to-End Sales Execution
- Manage full sales cycle: outreach → qualification → demo → proposal → contract close
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders (Radiology Leads, Procurement, CIOs)
- Develop detailed account plans for top targets, understanding procurement and decision-making paths
- Pipeline and Metrics
- Build and maintain an adequate pipeline to quota ratio at all times
- Meet and exceed your annual targets.
- Log all activity and pipeline progression in HubSpot; report weekly performance
- Value-Based Selling
- Position Hexarad's offering to address customer pain points.
- Use case studies, ROI data, and insights to support proposals
- Contribute to tender responses and proposal drafts in collaboration with the Sales team
- Collaboration
- Work alongside marketing to activate campaigns in your territory
- Join regular sales check-ins and weekly pipeline reviews with the Chief Commercial Officer for support and coaching.
What We’re Looking For
- Someone with experience both working as a doctor in the NHS, as well as experience of either start-up/scale-up, a commercial role, or masters/PhD in a relevant field
- Strong understanding of the UK healthcare landscape – NHS frameworks, procurement, and budgeting cycles
- Proven ability to work on and solve large complex problems.
- Consultative, structured approach to problem solving
- Confident communicator who can navigate clinical, technical, and commercial stakeholders
- Data-driven mindset and familiarity with CRM tools.

- Supportive culture: Work with clinicians, product leaders, and a top-tier commercial team
