Hexagon is looking for an ambitious Design Manager to join our growing team and further their career in the civil engineering industry. You will work within our design team and manage the business's design delivery. You will join an enthusiastic and driven team supporting your career development.
Accountabilities:
- Lead, manage and develop
- Overall project management
- Management and responsibility of technical queries and requests for information
- Client communication
- Internal communication
- Checking, production and authorisation of technical specifications for projects
- Coordinate project scheme drawings
- Production of design risk assessments
- Management of project document control
- Production of design submissions for various authorities
- Attend and organise design meetings
- KPI and data collation
- Mentoring and training
- Management and responsibility for the Design Department and team
The Person:
- Computer literate and proficient with structural engineering packages and MS Office
- Knowledgeable within current design, rail and British standards
- Must be a hardworking individual who is willing to learn
- Must have effective written and verbal communication
- Experience in the industry is essential
- Should be able to focus on attention to detail
- Must be able to manage their time efficiently
Hours: Monday to Thursday - 08:00am β 17:00pm. Friday 08:00am - 15:30pm.
Contract: Full-time/Permanent
